Bay Area Linux Users Group (BALUG) Wiki

BALUG has a wiki, accessible under:

The wiki has various namespaces, some of which may be used for various/other purposes.

The Index may be quite handy for locating most or all namespaces and pages within.
The wiki pages themselves may also provide relevant links and descriptions.

The BALUG wiki materials are mostly found within (at/under) the BALUG namespace.

The playground namespace may be used for test editing and such - at present, it is set so that its contents reset after about 25 to 55 minutes of non-use.

Some namespaces may be on this wiki "temporarily", and may move elsewhere later.

Access/edit policies and permissions may vary among namespaces and/or pages.
As of 2010-03-06T22:40:57-0800, this is outline of current access configuration, most specific match takes precedence over less specific match (for an explanation of how these permissions work, see Access Control Lists (ACL)):

*              @ALL     1
start @user 2
balug:* @user 8
playground:* @ALL 16
sf-lug:* @user 8
svlug:* @user 8
system:* @user 8

Prior to 2009-11-11, SF-LUG and BALUG were using a shared wiki space on/under http://[www].sflug.com/wiki/
As of 2010-02-21, BALUG has its own wiki space, on/under:
https://www.wiki.balug.org/wiki/ or https://secure.balug.org/wiki/ (recommended for any access when logging in or logged in or registering on the wiki, and may be used for all access)
http://wiki.balug.org/wiki/ or http://www.wiki.balug.org/wiki/ (should only be used when neither registering nor logged in nor logging in on the wiki)

With some reorganization and updating of links (including on "Old revisions" of pages) the wiki pages that were on/under the SF-LUG wiki location noted above have been placed/"restored" on the BALUG wiki noted above. Note that the non-BALUG content may just be "temporarily" located here, and may move elsewhere later. Note that there also may have been additional/subsequent edits to the pages.

Here's a synopsis of pages which not only moved between old and new site, but also had their relative location adjusted (reorganization):
